Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and brokering a diverse portfolio of global clients, from developing effective market strategies to collaborating with our support team on documentation.
- Facilitating strategic discussions and insurer presentations in the London market to ensure outstanding client service and market leadership.
- Evaluating client risks, preparing underwriting presentations, and reviewing insurance documents prepared by the support team.
- Actively driving portfolio expansion by building new relationships, pitching to potential clients, and securing contracts.
- Fostering and managing market relationships to support the global brokerage strategy.
- Collaborating closely with yacht clients to uphold global best practices.
- Opportunities for travel, including speaking engagements at conferences on behalf of Aon.
Requirements for Success:
- Experience in yacht sales, Hull & Machinery, and Protection & Indemnity
- Knowledge of yacht specifications, builders, models, engines, moorings, berths, and the intricacies of yachts across various price points
- Expertise in line slip and facility procedures
- Comprehensive understanding of yacht market trends and challenges
- Familiarity with cross-selling techniques
- Proficiency in technical language and negotiation skills
- Awareness of Sanctions/KYC/Governance
- Exceptional presentation capabilities
- Strong background in brokerage with an emphasis on pipeline and revenue management
