Job Summary

EVERSANA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Communications Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Communications Specialist, you will play a critical role in delivering industry-leading services to our clients, including call center staffing, medical writing, and adverse event reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translation and Communication: Translate English documents into target languages and deliver translated responses to clients via phone or written correspondence.
  • Medical Information: Respond to drug information inquiries from healthcare professionals and consumers, and disseminate information verbally or in writing.
  • Adverse Event Reporting: Identify and report adverse events and product complaints, and perform intake to generate initial reports in compliance with EVERSANA and client SOPs.
  • Medical Writing: Utilize writing skills to develop adverse event and product complaint narratives, as well as medical inquiry custom responses.
  • Process Coordination: Coordinate processes necessary for responding to quality-related complaints, including interactions with Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and complainant departments.
  • Research and Development: Utilize drug information skills to critically evaluate medical literature and develop information for written dissemination to healthcare professionals.
  • Miscellaneous Projects: Participate in market and competitive product research, system development, sales training projects, and field liaison support.
Requirements
  • Education: Life Sciences or healthcare degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Strong clinical background and excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Language: English C1 level is obligatory, with fluency in German and proficiency in French or Czech.
  • Skills: Strong translation skills, computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows applications, and utilization of Medical Information Management Systems, Safety Databases, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Preferred Pharma D/M Pharma or other degrees such as Master of Science (MSc) degree in Life Sciences or healthcare.
  • Experience: Call Center, Medical Information, pharmaceutical industry, and clinical experiences including medical writing.
  • Language: Fluent English along with Native German, with proficiency in French or Czech.
  • Skills: Positive attitude and energy, communication skills, innovator, highly principled, and ability to develop and articulate ideas and information that generate understanding and create a climate that motivates and encourages others to participate.
