We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at Altum Consulting. As an HR Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting our organization's strategic objectives by providing expert HR guidance and support to our managers and employees.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, with experience in leading on disciplinary, sickness/absence, and grievance cases. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary, sickness/absence, and grievance cases.
- Recruitment: Lead on end-to-end recruitment campaigns, working closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and advising on the best approach.
- HR Reporting: Develop and maintain regular and ad-hoc people reports for senior stakeholders, providing insights and analysis to inform business decisions.
- HR Policy and Process: Collaborate with the HR team to develop, maintain, and improve HR policies and processes, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives.
- People Database: Own and maintain the people database, ensuring it is accurate, up-to-date, and fit for purpose.
Key Qualifications:
- Strong experience in employee relations, with a proven track record of leading on disciplinary, sickness/absence, and grievance cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Evidenced experience of the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off-boarding.
- CIPD qualified or equivalent.
