Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Property Services Division in the South East. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our maintenance and repair contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost planning and budgeting for maintenance and repair projects
  • Closing out and setting up contracts commercially
  • Managing a team of commercial surveyors
  • Liaising with operational teams to ensure works are completed on time and within budget
  • Reconciling cost/value reports and profit forecasts
  • Working off the NHF Schedule of rates
  • Approving sub-contractors and supplier payments
  • Attending and chairing progress meetings with clients
  • Regular on-site visits
  • Overseeing profit and loss with operational leads
  • Cash flow management

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Manager or Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong knowledge of cost planning and budgeting

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
