About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at United Response. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each individual
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in community activities, social events, and leisure pursuits
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support

Requirements

  • Ability to drive and access to a vehicle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to support others
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
