A fantastic opportunity for a **Communications Officer** to join the Fundraising Team of a national charity to enhance their communication and engagement across the UK.

You will use your creative thinking and first-rate communication skills to create and deliver compelling content across a range of channels. You must be confident with different communication activities such as copywriting, media and PR, design, brand and digital and enjoy the variety that working in a small team brings.

The Communications Officer is a key role for the charity and an exciting time to join, with a number of ambitious events and projects in the planning. There will be plenty of opportunity to be creative and develop your expertise along the way. So, if you are eager for a new opportunity where you’ll have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of railway people, then this could be the role for you

We support flexible and home working with regular days in the office and occasional travel throughout the UK will be required. We are open to part-time or full-time hours depending on experience.

Railway Benefit Fund (RBF) is the charity for railway people, offering support and advice to current, former and retired rail workers and their families. From financial grants and confidential advice, to online tools and a legal helpline, we provide a range of services designed to support railway people through life’s unexpected events.

Please note that part of the interview process will be in Crewe.
