Crewe, United Kingdom Goss Scientific Limited Full time

'''Job Overview'''

We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. You will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks and providing support to the office staff. We're a small company and run as a tight knit little family. You will have responsibility, respect and be valued for your contribution. We are very accommodating and prioritise the work/life balance - you're doing this to pay your bills, so are we. In return we ask for initiative and reliability. The job is varied and the company is growing. You won't be a faceless drone, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills.

'''Duties'''
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Assist with general clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using Sage 50

'''Skills'''

To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:

- Proficient typing skills and experience with data entry
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong clerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to use computerised systems for various office tasks
- Knowledge of general office procedures and equipment
- Experience with Sage or other accounting software is a plus, but not a dealbreaker by any means.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Previous administrative experience is preferred

If you are a motivated individual with excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail, we would love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in an office environment.
