Office Administrator

**Role**
As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing support to the daily operations of the office and gaining hands-on experience in various administrative tasks. This programme is designed to develop your skills in office management, organisation, communication, and other essential administrative functions. You will work closely with experienced professionals and learn the ropes of maintaining an efficient and organised office environment.
This position is open to part time and full time hours.
**Duties and responsibilities**
**General Office Support**:
- Assist in answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and managing general inquiries.
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees.
- Maintain a clean and organised office space
- Incoming and outgoing post
**Data Entry and Record Keeping**:
- Input and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and other record-keeping systems.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date files and documentation.
- Learning about Fleet Management and Human Resources
**Communication**:
- Coordinate communication within the office and with external parties as directed.
**Administrative Tasks**:
- Support administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and filing
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
**Office Equipment and Supplies**:
- Monitor and order office supplies as needed.
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting office equipment.
**Learning and Development**:
- Actively participate in training programs and on-the-job learning opportunities
- Seek guidance from experienced professionals to enhance your skills and knowledge.
**Collaboration**:
- Work closely with colleagues to support team projects and tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
**Compliance**:
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
**Skills and experience**
- Degree or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Eagerness to learn and develop administrative skills.
