Job Title: Senior Social Work Practitioner - EDT (Adults)

Location: Welshpool

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide expert social work interventions within the Adults Emergency Duty Team.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis situations, ensuring a person-centered approach.
- Act as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
- Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of service delivery through reflective practice and constructive feedback.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
- Substantial experience in adult social work, with a focus on crisis intervention.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure while maintaining empathy and professionalism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and engage with service users and their families.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards.
