The Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship is a great qualification to develop a wide range of business administration skills. You’ll develop behaviours which enable you to work professionally whilst learning how to use your organisational skills to manage your workload and performance.

In this hybrid role, you will be able to work from home as well as at our Support Centre in Lichfield, and you will be given dedicated time to study. This blended approach, will see you spending approximately one day a week completing the apprenticeship via webinars/seminars or completing assignments and activities whilst the rest of the working week you will be able to gain hands-on experience supporting the Funeral Plan Team.

Over the course of the programme, you’ll undertake a range of modules and complete assignments in areas such as; IT Skills, production of documents, decision making, planning and organising, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills. You’ll have the support of your Line Manager as well as the Provider Tutor to guide and coach you to achieve your qualification.

This role will be on an 18-month fixed term contract to enable you to complete the apprenticeship. Whilst a permanent role cannot be guaranteed at this stage, there may be opportunities beyond the initial 18 months. This will be assessed throughout the programme.

As a Funeral Plan Administrator, you’ll be assisting with the accurate data entry of pre-paid funeral plans into the Plan Management System. You’ll also be performing plan maintenance which includes processing customer amendments, cancellations and redemptions.

You’ll be supporting the day-to-day operation of the pre-paid funeral plan processes in line with FCA regulations, as well as supporting colleagues in the delivery of team objectives and ensuring that work is delivered in line with agreed standards, processes and procedures.

The role will involve liaising with internal and external customers and third -party providers.

By providing exceptional customer service you’ll help ensure the Plan Management Team maintains an excellent reputation, and you’ll help ensure that all customer queries are resolved within agreed timeframes (escalating any complex complaints or queries as required).

**How will I know if I am right for this role?**:
To be eligible for the course, you’ll need to have a minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at GCSE Grade A-C/ 4-9 or a relevant level 2 qualification.

This role would suit enthusiastic individuals who are self-motivated, have a strong attention to detail and an ability to plan and organise work.

You’ll need to be a team player, with a strong customer service focus.

You’ll need excellent communication and IT skills and be able to use your own initiative.
