**Salary**: Starting from £43,373 depending on skills and experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Leading a team of project professionals to monitor and provide governance on budget, scope and plan adherence
- Developing and implementing improvement initiatives and management of change control
- Key coordinator of functions as part of the Integrated Delivery Team
- Provision of accurate reporting on cost and schedule performance
- Management of internal and external stakeholders
- You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Previous experience in managing complex projects or programme portfolios
- Project Management professional degree or equivalent
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications, knowledge or experience using project management software tools including JIRA and Confluence would be advantageous

Desirable:

- Direct Line Management experience
- Change Management experience

**The Platform Mechanical for SSNA Programme team**:
The team supports the multi-functional Engineering, Design, Supply Chain, Project Management, Build, and Through Life Support functions of the SSNA Programme Team’s Integrated Delivery Team. The team oversees every facet of the program’s design, qualification, verification, and execution. They also make sure that the plan, budget, and schedule are followed, and that changes are controlled as needed. In terms of scope, breadth, and opportunity, this team is among the largest Integrated Delivery Teams of the programme and as the team continues to grow, this position will provide opportunities for continued professional advancement within the organisation.
