**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supporting the Major Projects Team with delivery of infrastructure type projects
- Management of project data into single source reports to support various forums internally and with senior stakeholders including the customer (MoD)
- Supporting Project Engineers and Project Manager with financial reports, project estimates and estimates at completion (EAC) using information driven from our IT systems i.e., SAP, and working closely with the Site & Facilities Project Management Organisation (PMO)
- Developing and maintaining good communications and relationships at all levels with the wider Site & Facilities Department, and supporting functions i.e., Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, SHE
- Development opportunity to expand knowledge and experience of the management of Contractor activities on site and undertaking the role of Responsible Person

**Your skills and experiences**:
Essential:

- Experience of producing project management and financial reporting, including pack creation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals

Desirable:

- Administration of SharePoint
- Online database management
- Data Analysis driven

**The Site & Facilities Major Project team**:
As a project professional you’ll be responsible for the project controls and reporting for a multi-million dollar programme of works based on site at Barrow-in-Furness. The position is part of the Site & Facilities Major Projects team, reporting to the Project Manager. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of varying teams internally within the submarines business and also externally, therefore an all-encompassing role for a motivated individual.
