If so, we’d like to hear from you as we grow our team at the Clinical Support Desk, dedicated to providing highly skilled remote clinical decision making services at multiple locations throughout Wales; with future opportunities for remote working.

Providing telephone and video-based clinical assessment to 999 callers, in a demanding but rewarding role, with a strong focus on excellent patient care, requiring a high level of critical thinking and interpersonal skills.

It is an exciting time to be joining the specialism of remote clinical decision making as the highly specialist clinical skills needed are recognised more and more by a health professionals. If you want to make a significant contribution to the well-being of patients and work in a supportive environment, then this opportunity could be for you.

You will receive high quality accredited training from the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch as well as our in house training courses. We will provide you with supervision, mentoring, and clinical audit to ensure you can deliver the best care to our patients. There are potential opportunities to undertake higher education qualifications specifically in Remote Clinical Decision Making; again, further recognising the specialism of this type of care.

This role involves shifts including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
