**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Are you a competent, solid, administrator looking for a new challenge? We are looking to recruit a HR Co-ordinator/HR Assistant to join our team. Internal duties will include:

- Completion and supply of monthly information for employees to the payroll bureau, ensuring that this is completed to deadline to enable accurate payroll processing.
- All transactional and administrative HR activities
- Handling HR administration tasks efficiently.
- Coordinating new starter paperwork, ensuring compliance with right to work documentation and obtaining references.
- Measuring employee engagement and identifying areas that require improvement.
- Implementing training and development; sourcing providers and identify areas that need attention and improvement.
- Collating data and reporting Headcount, Absence and other metrics.
- Ensuring that referrals to occupational health are completed in a timely manner and followed up accordingly.
- Attending and note taking in formal hearings with regards to employee relations issues.

**KEY PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS & SKILLS**
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- To hold 6+ (A to C) or equivalent in Maths, English and IT GCSE.
- Computer literate, comfortable working with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent communications skills, and a strong attention to detail is a must.
- Problem solving skills and the ability to sense issues before they arise.
- Can-do attitude with a strong work ethic, wanting to work collaboratively and get stuck in.
- Someone with great integration abilities, wanting to learn about our business and be part of our Whitworths Sugar family.
