An international education company is recruiting a Commercial Finance Business Partner who will be responsible for supporting the UK and Ireland market through monthly management accounting and detailed performance reporting. Reporting to the Senior CommercialFinance Manager, this role will deliver a high quality finance service to the market. This role offers great opportunity to make a substantial impact to the market through both process and operational improvements.

Main Duties:

- Play a key role in providing expert financial and management accounting services and partnering budget holders and department heads across projects and professional services
- Understand the needs of Market Directors and budget holders building effective working relationships
- Provide direction and Work with Market teams to achieve greater commercial insight.
- Oversee the general financial management of the Market and ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records, including reconciliation and processing of journals where necessary.
- Production of Market's monthly management including commentary and analysis of performance, variances, and trends and provide regular and ad hoc insightful analysis for decision making including project and product performance reporting.
- Take lead on the annual exam fee setting for the relevant markets, along with the setting of in-market examiner remuneration.
- Consider, understand, and analyse the Market's trading position including areas for improvement.
- Working with other teams across finance to investigate any issues and ensure that we provide consistent and joined-up views.
- Assist the finance team's focus on transforming and improving financial processes by putting forward recommendations on how existing processes can be improved and assist in all internal and external audit activities for the Markets.

**Requirements**:

- ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong communication with a history of building strong relationships in a business partnering role.
- Confident in advising, challenging and negotiating with people, often senior to yourself, with different backgrounds and viewpoints.
- Good financial and analytical skills to be able to digest large amounts of information with attention to detail when working under pressure.
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural and multi-site organisation.
- Knowledge of Sun Accounting System (preferable).
- Knowledge and understanding of Siebel or any other similar integrated CRM system (preferable)
