**PMP Utilities** are an established industry leader providing single sourced solutions within the field of Engineering. We specialise at mechanical engineering in confined spaces predominately for the water utility sector. Our areas of expertise include bespoke engineering solutions, mechanical maintenance, hazardous areas and confined spaces, Amex-10 internal pipe joint repair system, project management and preventive maintenance.

**PMP Utilities** is recruiting for a **SHEQ & General** **Business Administrator, **who will be based full-time in our **Glasgow **office. This role is not suitable for hybrid working.

As the SHEQ & General Business Administrator, you will be part of our SHEQ Team based in our head office in Burnley. Who are responsible for the safe delivery of our specialist services nationally.

There will also be the requirement for you to perform general business support activities to assist the Operations team in Glasgow.

**As the **SHEQ & General** **Business Administrator** **your responsibilities will include**:

- Compiling of detailed bespoke risk assessment/method statements
- You will conduct site audits and inspections across the company’s site activities.
- Pre-start site visits to understand the scope and associated hazards.
- Build rapport with site teams to help promote a safety culture.
- Assist with conducting accident and near miss investigations.
- Liaise with the Managers & Directors to promote safety in the business.
- Prepare, issue and deliver safety briefings.
- Produce safety reports.
- Assist with maintaining the various SHEQ registers within the Quality Management System
- General admin support, e.g., Purchase Orders, obtaining quotes from suppliers, spreadsheet maintenance, CRM, support with KPI spreadsheets, enquiry pipeline, contract pipeline, etc.
- Booking hotel accommodation and travel as required for operational staff.
- Collation of timesheets and checking hours and associated project costs.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**- A professional team player with a proven history of providing SHEQ or administrative support across a variety of business sectors.
- SHEQ Qualification such as NEBOSH General/NEBOSH Construction
- Proven job diligence, dedication, attention to detail and dealing with confidential information.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent organisational, coordination and personal interface skills with proven ability to confidently interact with a variety of stakeholders, including various levels of staff, management, and visitors, including clients and suppliers.

**Additional Information**
- Occasional travel to Burnley Lancashire would be required as part of training and development.
- Job specific training will be provided.
