Morrison Water Services are currently recruiting for a proactive individual to work as a SHEQ Coordinator on our DV2 Lot 4 Programme.

Morrison Water Services were awarded the framework contract in May 2021 by Scottish Water. With a start date of July 2021 and services provided within the contract are capital (planned & reactive) projects associated with non-infrastructure assets (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control). The term of the contract of for 6 years with a Scottish Water option to extend by a further 6 years covering SR21 and SR27.

Reporting directly to the Senior SHEQ Manager, ensuring the delivery of SHEQ objectives, compliance with MWS & Scottish Water’s established specifications and procedures.

As a SHEQ Coordinator you will provide administrative support, specifically for the SHEQ team ensuring that all work is conducted to the required standards. Ensuring all relevant company policy and procedures are adhered to.

**As the SHEQ Coordinator your duties & responsibilities will include**:
**SHEQ Documentation**
- To provide support to the DV2 Contract for ensuring SHE compliance to Company Standards, best practice, and Statutory requirements.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the company ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Carry out inductions to new starters and refresher inductions.
- Assisting in third party audits of the safety management process including contractors and suppliers to assess Scotland contracts compliance and report accordingly.
- Actively promote Health and Safety awareness. Introduce promotional schemes for health and safety as agreed with Senior SHEQ Manager.
- Support Operational Site Staff to investigate and report on SHEQ incidents.
- Help compile information and report on the SHEQ performance for Scotland and prepare performance reports both internally and externally to the Client.
- Monitor and report compliance against contract SHEQ plans.
- Monitor to ensure that all actions from H&S inspections, Statutory inspections, audits, near miss reports etc are closed and maintain the SHEQ action plan.
- Deliver own actions identified in inspections, audits, investigations to time and quality.
- Encourage staff to ensure that near misses, accidents, H&S incidents are recorded, investigated, and followed up with actions as appropriate.
- Help maintain the DV2 near miss and accident trackers.

**Training**
- Management of the contract skills matrix.
- Management of contract competency matrix, identify training needs and requirements, and arrange for courses.
- The management and processing of all training records.

**General Duties**

General administration duties and assisting the SHEQ team members when required.

**Skills & Knowledge Requirements**
- GCSE English or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent organisational and communication skills

**Additional Information**

Preferred working knowledge of SHEQ procedures and management systems.
