We are ready to expand our Asset and Facilities team with a newly created role that gives exposure to the whole of the Parklane Group’s property assets. This is a vital role ensuring that our buildings remain compliant, reactive and planned maintenance is efficiently managed in conjunction with the management team and that they remain fit for purpose.

There are plenty of learning opportunities and projects to be part of which will include a new software platform and implementing solar energy schemes. This is a fantastic role for someone with a passion for property, facilities, compliance and building asset management.

The role is based at our central office in Leeds but some travelling may be required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain statutory compliance records, follow up on reports with building managers.
- Support with site audits.
- Support with implementing an asset management and compliance platform and migrate all records to this system within 12 months of appointment.
- Assist site managers with relevant information and instruction on compliant practices and procedures.
- Ability to understand building design and basic electrical and mechanical plans.
- Maintain asset register.
- Escalate and report on recurring faults/failures by tracking these against assets.
- Support in liaising with suppliers to get the best long-term solutions when undertaking minor works or other remedial works.
- Co-ordinate remedial works and small works projects across all group locations.
- Support with exploratory energy audits and assessments.
- Assist the Head of Asset Management & Site Mobilisation in their day-to-day role on new projects.
- Assist in coordination of operational delivery and quality checks of new buildings handed over by development/projects team and their appointed contractors.
- To adhere to all company and statutory health & safety requirements.
- To attend any relevant meetings or training courses as requested.

**Do you have**:

- Ideally 1 years’ experience within a similar role and sector
- Excellent administration and organisation skills
- Knowledge of Building Systems
- Efficient IT and data analysis skills with a good competency of MS Excel.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
- Be resourceful, analytical and have the ability to work well within your team and with other departments
- Experience of working within a multi-faceted organization would be beneficial
- Ability to adapt approach depending on situation and circumstances
- Be a self-starter and take ownership including excellent follow up
- Have a genuine interest in building mechanical, electrical and safety systems.
