The Mortgage Adviser will provide a range of services to HSBC customers supporting key life events such as buying a first home and home improvements. This service is offered either by telephone or ZOOM and for a selection of advisers - in person in various hub locations.

The role holder will support customers through the delivery of a personalized advised service in the channel of their choice whilst delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The Mortgage Adviser will establish and grow our mortgage and protection business, and will provide a professional advice service to both new and existing customers in line with the Bank's policy on treating customers fairly (TCF).

The role holder will deliver a high quality, customer driven service by identifying customer needs for mortgage and mortgage related protection products and provide advice and services to meet those needs.

In this role, you will:

- Provide an agile and flexible service to customers to meet their needs within their channel of choice
- Listen to customers to identify and understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs, helping them to achieve a mortgage package that is fully tailored to their individual needs
- Recognising the wider financial planning needs of individual customers and making referrals to other areas of the bank, where their wider needs can be met
- Proactively developing and strengthening customer relationships and, in doing so, generating new business responsibly
- Develop and build effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area

Requirements
- As an Adviser you must already hold RO1 / CF1 and CF6 (or CeMAP or equivalent)
- Communicate confidently and professionally with customers
- Seeking out and building on effective working relationships with key stakeholders within and outside of the immediate business area
- Delivery of satisfactory compliance and quality measures
- Have experience of personally complying with business processes, rules and regulations
- Flexible working with a working pattern to support operating hours of 8am-8pm Monday - Saturday

This role is branch based Monday
- Saturday in Cornmarket St, Oxford, OX1 3HY
