**What will you be doing?**

It's safe to say no day is the same, this role will require time away from your desk and your own time management, we're keen on HR visibility & would like you to frequently visit crew rooms & engage with staff.

As the HR Assistant you will be assisting the HR Business Partner with business area workload, including recruitment, ER issues, absence processes and general administration duties.
- Updating the HR people system will be required on a regular and ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and integrity of the data and dealing with staff queries. Liaising with payroll for queries relating to employee’s issues and issuing contracts and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
- Traveling across the UK to support our regional sites in Glasgow, Newcastle & Birmingham whilst being based in Manchester.
- Supporting all types of ER case work, with guidance from the HR Business Partner when required.
- Supporting the HR Business Partner on project work to help support & change the business to create an engaging and attractive business.

**What are my working hours?**
- Monday-Friday 9-5, 37.5hrs per week
- Some flexibility required to support the HR operation, if required

**What do you expect from me?**
- A 'can do' attitude
- Previous experience of working within an HR Assistant or HR Administrative role preferable
- Working towards CIPD qualification ideal
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, on own initiative, and under pressure
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Discreet and professional, confidentiality is paramount
- Good communication skills including written and verbal
- Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5 year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.

**What will I get paid?**
- Up to 32K depending on experience
