Lancaster Medical School seek to appoint an experienced administrator to join the professional service team to support the primary care element of the MBChB programme. The appointee will join a high-functioning professional service team with specific remit for primary care, working alongside another Coordinator and an Undergraduate Assistant under the direction of the Primary Care Programme Officer.

Excellent administrative and organisational skills and experience of using Microsoft Office packages at an advanced level are essential, as is strong communication and the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders including but not exclusively medical students, academic and professional staff, GPs and voluntary sector. You should be able to work flexibly as part of a rapidly expanding department and possess a calm, friendly and flexible approach whilst working in a pressurised and quick pace environment. Ideally, you will have previous relevant administrative experience in a higher education, Primary Care or NHS background.

A proven team player and confident communicator, you will be committed to integrating into a busy office environment, working closely with students and a wide range of colleagues.
