Student Programmes Officer

We are looking for a well organised and highly motivated Student Programmes Officer (SPO) to manage our Professional Services (PS) team and the smooth operations of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral research programmes and modules.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly and busy department, highly ranked for teaching, research and student experience. It is home to 41 academics staff, 8 graduate teaching assistants and a PS team of 6 staff. You will support key department role holders, as well as our wider academic department and work collaboratively with other departments, faculties and university student services.
The successful applicant will have relevant HE experience of programmes delivery. You will understand the student lifecycle; administrative processes involved throughout the academic year and will appreciate internal and external factors that affect student experience. You will have experience of line management; leading and working as part of a team; managing workflow and resources within a team. You will be able to understand strategy and university data; convey complex issues to others and operationalise plans to deliver on objectives, with demonstrable ability to innovate and managing change.
