**Salary**:From £21,000 per annum depending on experience and based on full-time hours

To provide assistance in the successful running of all areas of tour operations at adeo Travel. Working to the Operations Executive in assisting the sales team in the back-office management of their confirmed bookings including handling reservations, communicating with suppliers or partner organisations such as the TTA and assisting in the production and processing of client travel documents for dispatch. The role will also include assisting with basic accounting procedures and has the opportunity to work on website content development or marketing projects.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Developing knowledge of the travel destination, the products and services offered by adeo Travel and general tour operations in Britain including our obligations to the customer as a tour operator.
- Developing a working knowledge of our internal systems and processes including the sales process in order to fully understand the business operations.
- Supporting the sales team in their procedural duties relating to confirmed bookings such as issuing mandatory customer insurances (SASSPG / SFC) and setting supplier payment dates using internal and external systems.
- Working with individual sales agents to collate travel information and documents for customers including brochures, direction sheets / driving instructions, travel vouchers and other forms of information.
- Preparing shipping documentation and completing document packages for dispatch to our clients across the globe;
- Managing stock of travel pack materials and communicating with external suppliers and tourist boards or attractions in order collate such materials.
- Supporting the accounting processes including chasing supplier invoices, cross-checking invoices, logging and saving invoices on the system, checking online payments systems such as the TTA TAPS system and submitting Trust account payment requests (PRFs) through the TTA’s online system.
- Checking supplier information such as hotel amenities and contact information and updating our systems and/or website accordingly.
- Making updates to the adeo Travel website when requested such as updating tour dates and availability.
- To carry out additional tasks as required in relation to the successful tour operations of the company.

adeo Travel is a growing company and so the successful applicant will have the opportunity to mould and develop the role to some extent, dependent on their own ideas and aptitudes. There will also be the opportunity to take on further duties or responsibilities and increase the working hours in the near future.

**Skills and qualifications**:

- An ability to learn and use bespoke internal booking and quoting systems.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written communication skills and a good phone manner.
- Time management and organisational skills
- Strong written English and confident numerical skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year
