**Job Title**: Apprentice Administrator

**Job Summary**:
To implement an efficient call and visitor screening system, which ensures all enquiries received at the DD Head office are forwarded to the appropriate member of staff or tenant. This will also involve researching and giving advice to customers who do not fit with a specific service. To ensure the smooth running of a busy multi service centre.

**The applicant must be willing to complete a Level 2 and/or Level 3 in business and administration.**

**Duties**:

- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Manage office supplies and inventory levels
- Assist in organising and scheduling meetings and appointments
- Managing the meeting rooms
- Computerise documents and maintain electronic files
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ensure phone etiquette is upheld at all times
- Support the charities projects when requested
- Organise and assist with facilities management
- Organise and assist with events management
- Minute taking
- Meet and greet clients
- Promote all internal services as well as other external provisions available to disabled people
- Attend meetings and training courses as identified by line management

The particular duties and responsibilities of this post may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or level of responsibility involved.

**Skills**:

- Must have excellent research skills and the ability to source information
- Good organisational / office skills
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Able to work in a team and also using own initiative when necessary
- Must have excellent IT skills

**Desirable**:

- Disability awareness
- Level 1 BSL
- Understanding of the social and medical models of disability
