Administration Assistant

Location: Stagecoach Group 10 Dunkeld Rd, Perth PH1 5TW

Hours: 35 hours Monday to Friday office based

**Salary**: £20,000 - £22,000 depending on skills and experience

The role

As our Administration Assistant, you will be working as part of our Pension team. You don’t need Pension specific experience or knowledge, but it’s great if you have this.

To provide more of a flavour, your specific tasks would include:

- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Preparing written communications using templates and prepopulated communications to send to pension members and employees
- Maintaining and updating membership records
- Maintaining the Group Pensions Workflow System, logging new work items and adding updates
- Communicating with Members through the Group Pensions Helpline

In terms of who we’re looking for
- You’ll be competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, for preparing communications and data entry
- You’ll have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- You’ll have a positive attitude and friendly personality to match our team culture
- You’ll be able to manage and prioritise your workload and meet deadlines
- You’ll be good with numbers, ideally with a National 4 Maths qualification
- You’ll be friendly and helpful when speaking to our members via the Helpline

Our Team

We’re a small team of 8 and we successfully manage the administration of the Stagecoach Group Pension Scheme for 35,000 members. We’re responsible for making sure that our members are paid their correct pension at the right time, and we take pride in achieving this. The team also assist in the administration of Stagecoach’s other pension and life cover arrangements. Our team have all been with Stagecoach a long time so there’s lots of support for someone new to the team, and lots of knowledge to share with you if you want to develop and get some qualifications.
