Kenneth Brian Associates are urgently seeking an experienced and confident Payroll Manager on behalf of our well-established client based in Crawley.

As the Payroll Manager you will have a dotted line into the Finance Director as well as the Head of HR.

**Duties of the role will include**:

- To ensure the smooth processing of the payrolls for the 2 businesses with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage the development of their benefits package including pensions, accommodation, fees and discounts
- Be a single source of data on their workforce providing timely and accurate reporting to managers, senior Directors and external parties
- In the short term the role will also be responsible for managing the migration from their current payroll system to a Cloud based payroll system.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Work with the finance team to ensure that all staff are paid on time, ensuring that the payroll and nominal ledger is reconciled each month and that appropriate support is provided to the annual audit process
- To ensure monthly and end of year procedures are undertaken including payments of PAYE and National Insurance, reconciliation of HMRC form P35 to PAYE accounts and produce HMRC forms, P60s and required electronic records and returns required by pensionsagencies, and manage any HMRC and DWP queries
- Administer the pension schemes and other employee reward and benefits, including ensuring the correct reporting of taxable elements to staff and the HMRC
- Produce monthly reports for pay budget holders on staff levels and pay, overtime and other payments.
- Update forecasts based on information provided by HR Business Partners. Where necessary attend pay budget meetings to assist HR business partners.
- In conjunction with the Head of Human Resources and wider team members, support the development and review of Human Resources Business Plan and work steams, policies, procedures and good practice guides both written and electronic.
