**Support To Succeed
- Community Engagement Co-Ordinator**

Support To Succeed is a new programme of activity which identifies, engages, and supports economically inactive Greater Manchester (GM) residents (aged 19 and over) who are furthest away from the labour market, with complex needs (including those who are not engaged with mainstream provision) to address barriers and achieve positive onward destinations. The programme will also have a dedicated offer for economically inactive residents aged over 50 who experience age-related challenges. The emphasis of this programme is on engagement, and re-engagement, with mainstream provision and employment for some of the regions most disengaged, economically inactive residents. There are several other UKSPF (UK SHARED PROSPERITY FUND) funded programmes which will work together to ensure a whole system approach to attracting, engaging, retaining, and progressing participants, whilst addressing and removing barriers

What you’ll be doing
- Targeting specific cohorts, as identified by the management information to ensure project profiles are achieved.
- To work closely with delivery partners and community groups across Greater Manchester (GM) to identify potential participants and arrange events to engage with them, specific to their needs and interests.
- Organise and deliver tailored programmes to promote Support To Succeed and generate referrals, supporting individuals to attend programmes and register for the project.
- To support the delivery of the Support To Succeed team to achieve specific outcomes/ targets in relation to employment, training/education and external job search activities for participants.
- Full involvement in event management from planning, promotion, organising, along with completing relevant paperwork and data collection.
- To stimulate communities, stakeholders, and partners to identify potential participants, to achieve targeted number of referrals.
- Monitor engagement data to ensure that diversity engagement targets are being met and design rectification plans if there are shortfalls.
- Promote, market, and publicise services offered by the project to engage local communities, including the use of social media.
- Liaise with marketing lead to capture coverage of events, success stories, and develop content promoting the benefits of the project.
- Liaise with project partners and community groups on diary events and activity.
- Plan and deliver short term tailored programmes, to assist in completing eligibility assessment for Support To Succeed then, arranging hand over of participants to Keyworker's to complete the sign-up paperwork and complete a personal action plan.
- Attend local stakeholder network meetings and events to promote the project, and to provide direct engagement with participants. Co-ordinate attendance with other project partners & staff to maximise resource coverage.

What you’ll need
- Previous engagement experience liaising and fostering relationships in a similar role with external partners
- A competent knowledge base of the Greater Manchester area and services that meet the requirement of the Support to Succeed programme
- The role requires experience of working and training people with multiple and complex needs.
- Post holders need to be highly organised, self-motivated, engaging, and supportive.
- Occasionally the position may require setting up learning opportunities including workshops and bespoke programmes of work.
