**Client Profile**:
Origin Multilingual is proud to announce, we are searching for an **Office Manager** to join a well established international shipbrokers working from their central London offices. Some flexibility to work 1 day a week from home but due to thenature of the position it would mostly be office based. This opportunity is offered on a full time and permanent basis.

**Key Purpose**

The Office Manager will take responsibility for the general operation of the London office. You will be responsible for organising and coordinating the office administration and procedures, ensuring the efficient running and safety of the office and
be the face of the firm when greeting clients, visitors and new staff as well as managing the team Secretaries.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and general support to clients, visitors, and new staff
Be the main point of contact for supplies, maintenance, equipment, and mailing.
- Coordinating with the IT department as and when required
Assisting with the office move in 2023 (this is local to existing office)
- Manage relationships and contracts with vendors, service providers, cleaners and building management/landlord
General housekeeping duties, ensuring the office is well kept and stocked
- Managing the booking of meeting rooms and ensuring rooms are prepared for client visits
- Developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operations of the office
Maintain and manage the contacts database
- Participate in the planning and execution of company events
Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment
- Ad hoc support to the Team Secretaries when cover is required including travel arrangements and documentation

**Personal Specification**
- Previous office management, administrative or assistant experience
- Knowledge of office management procedures
- Must have great attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
- Positive and self motivated
- Passion and drive for excellence

Working hours are:
initially, it would be would need to start at 8am to 5pm, but once in the new office this can be 8am-5pm/ or 9am-6pm
