Claims Administrator

**Overview**
We have an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Claims Administrator. Working within a busy centralised insurance function, you will provide support and advice to facilitate the efficient and cost-effective conclusion of all aspects of Insurance function. Hours:37.5 hours per week with option of hybrid working Salary: Up to £25,000
**How will you contribute?**
- Review new Webrisk fleet motor accident reports and personal injury notifications and claims on a daily basis and action as necessary
- Respond to a wide variety of enquiries from insurers, claims handlers, solicitors, recovery agents, third parties, and group colleagues
- Assist in Annual insurance renewal
- Source and supply accurate data to manage the efficient recovery of uninsured losses and driver negligence agreement claims
- Manage and control the Freight liability claims
- Provide a range of general administration duties to facilitate efficient running of the department including:
- Update the National Motor Insurance Database to ensure accurate records are maintained of group insured vehicles
- Import insurance company data uploads into Webrisk
- Provide risk management information to site locations and other interested parties.
- Process and raise time critical invoices.
- Manage and update business critical reports.
**What will you bring?**
- Be a good communicator both verbally and in writing with good numeracy, literacy and telephone skills
- Have experience of using Microsoft Office and be proficient with Excel and Word
- Have the ability and temperament to deal with difficult and sometimes verbally aggressive external complainants
- Be efficient and able to manage and prioritise own workload effectivel
- Be willing to adapt to the changing needs of the company and the department
- ideally have experience of working in a claims handling and/or customer complaint environment but this is not essential. Full on the job training will be provide.
