**Veterinary Receptionist required at Chalkland Vets, Chippenham**

**The Role**

**About Us**

We are a small animal independent veterinary practice based Chippenham. We opened our doors in April 2019 and the practice is run by two vets Selina and Philly who are on-site every day. The team also consists of five vets, seven nurses, one trainee nurse, two ANAs, seven receptionists, and one administrator. We are all very much looking forward to welcoming a new member to the team

**Applicant Requirements**

**Qualifications**:

- Literate, with good knowledge of the English language.
- Preferably with a GCSE or equivalent in English Language.
- Preferably with a GCSE or equivalent in Mathematics
- Computer literate with keyboard skills
- Clean drivers licence

**Job Duties**:

- Greeting and welcoming visitors
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing correspondence
- Carrying out requests from management as needed
- Maintaining stock and ordering supplies
- Answering phone calls and transferring them as necessary
- Cleaning of consult rooms and reception area

**Financial Duties**:

- Assisting with insurance claims
- Processing payments
- Billing/Processing Payments

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
