Overview of department:
Our in-house events & marketing team are the face of the Practice, and visiting corporate offices and businesses within the local community is something we enjoy doing. We work with our partners in digital dentistry to raise awareness of the importance of preventative dentistry and enjoy promoting all things dental or skin-related. Confidence is key, and creativity is desired. With in-house training and specialist courses, you’ll constantly be growing your skill-set be converting new leads to new patients in no time. We’re looking for smiley, social individuals with innovative ideas who are astute marketers & understand current trends in dentistry and want to be part of a growing team.

**JOB POSITION**

We are looking for a savvy marketing & social media coordinator who communicates effortlessly with everyone & is sensitive to cultural differences when creating and communicating messages via social media platforms. At OTD, we are big on communication, so being a team player is essential. We are looking for a marketing and social media coordinator who will be an asset to the team, who is confident and pays great attention to detail & is up to date with dentistry and all the associated trends. There are 3 surgeries with the possibility to expand to 5 purpose-built, modern, digital practices. We have a long-standing, experienced, and supportive dental team who can’t wait to welcome you on board.

**Position Availability**:
Immediately, taking notice periods into consideration.

**Hours**:
Monday - Friday, alternate Saturdays may be required occasionally depending on events & open days / business demands.

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 5 years of events, marketing & social media experience in a corporate setting or similar private dental practice setting.
- Excellent English both written & spoken with superior communication skills.
- Solid experience in Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign is preferable.
- Valid DBS check required.
- Drivers License preferable.

**Remuneration**:
£12 - £15 per hour - Dependent on experience

**Tasks**:
Researching competitor dental practice websites

Looking at practices in Reading that offer new treatments & noting prices to consistently maintain competitive edge on fee guide & services

Coordinating events held inside and outside the practice with the Events Coordinator.

Ordering marketing collateral

Liaising with Events coordinator and third party graphic design team to create creative content for social platforms and ads ensuring flyers / promotional material are printed & distributed on time.

Creating artwork for social platforms in house.

Updating monthly social calendar and events calendar.

Adhering to marketing budget.

Maintain online events calendar for relevant dental and medical conferences / key national awareness dates

Act as an additional admin to social platforms - most importantly Facebook & Instagram

Act as an additional admin to our live chat service

Update content on the website if new information is being amended or changed.

Update Shopify with new products and maintain existing products.

Liaise with membership plan company to ensure we are promoting membership plans internally and externally in the best possible way.

Writing content about treatments when given the right resources and medical terminology

Ensure external communication is maintained accurately and corporate identity is maintained.

Unify branding and notify marketing consultant if the practice brand is being used incorrectly or inappropriately at any time.

Come up with creative ideas on how to phrase specific promotional offers.

Differentiate between the marketing for general dental treatments & cosmetic aesthetic related treatments and suggest ideas for how to create marketing that will target each demographic.

Ensure internal marketing material is always in stock

Maintain efficient message handling system between front of house and clinical team as needed.
