Care Home Administrator

Bury

Monday-Friday 20 hours per Week

My Client is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to be responsible for the effective delivery of a variety of resident, colleague, and financial administration to support their Care Home in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations.

Reporting to the Registered Care Home Manager, you will support on administration related to financial transactions, budget management, marketing, and organisation of resident activities. You will also be responsible for co-ordinating the care home’s diary and ensure effective appointment management with relevant contractors are arranged and executed in a timely fashion.

You will need to be caring, professional, and service-oriented with good verbal and written communication skills. Strong Excel and Word skills are essential. You will have demonstrable administration experience, excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively plan, organise, and prioritize your workload with a continued commitment to a high quality of service.

You’ll need to enjoy working with people, we’ll expect you to be friendly, professional and efficient. As well as providing great administrative support to the home manager you’ll be part of the leadership team working together to ensure the home runs smoothly. You’ll receive excellent support from your colleagues and quality training to progress in your career.

**Salary**: £10.60 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- DBS registered on the Update Service (preferred)
