Care Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our service user, a young boy in Bury.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Deliver specialized support for the service user's intricate care needs
* Tend to clinical care requirements, including establishing a calm and comforting sleep environment
* Offer reassurance and support during the night
* Carry out necessary clinical interventions

**Requirements**

* Experience in complex care
* Background in working with children or young people
* Ability to manage complex and challenging situations with confidence and empathy

**Shifts Available**

* Full Time Nights (minimum 3 shifts per week)
* 7:45pm – 8:00am
* Commitment to working two weekends per month

**Essential Experience Required**

* A minimum of 3 months previous care / support work experience
* Working with Children & Young People
* Complex Care experience
* Medication Administration
* Personal Care
* Moving and Handling
