Care Assistant Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide personalized care and support to our service user. As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering specialized support for his intricate care needs, tending to his clinical care requirements, establishing a calm and comforting sleep environment, offering reassurance if he awakens, and carrying out any necessary clinical interventions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Deliver high-quality care and support to our service user, ensuring his physical and emotional needs are met
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our service user's care plan, including his medical history, medication, and treatment requirements
* Establish a calm and comforting sleep environment, ensuring our service user feels safe and secure
* Provide reassurance and emotional support to our service user, promoting his confidence and well-being
* Carry out any necessary clinical interventions, including medication administration and personal care

**Requirements**

* A minimum of 3 months previous care/support work experience
* Experience working with children and young people
* Complex care experience
* Medication administration
* Personal care
* Moving and handling
