The Studio

The Studio is such a crucial part of the customer’s digital journey - bringing the New Look product to life in the best way possible. We show our customers how to wear our product in an aspirational way, referencing the latest fashion trends and listening to our customer’s needs, and lifestyle. **The Role**:
Reporting into the Studio Shoot Producer, the main objective of this role is to support and assist the studio team. Your day-to-day role will involve liaising with the studio regarding numbers and managing the Group Studio Assistant. You will be responsible for managing all samples that are sent to and from the studio, assisting with all reshoot requests from the business and ensuring the site adheres to all photography guidelines. You will also attend special shoots to ensure everything gets photographed and coded correctly on set.

**Responsibilities**:
Maintain high photography standards and constantly check the site and ensure it adheres to the guidelines.

Responsible for samples entering and leaving the studio, as well as managing any sample issues. Logging and processing samples correctly

Maintain excellent communication with BMD

Manage preshoots and be the main point of contact for all buying teams. Ensure we keep a high preshoot standard of over 80% every quarter.

Image management - send a weekly list to the studio to ensure all images are uploaded

Manage reshoots - send a weekly list to the studio to ensure they are uploading reshoots within the agreed time frame and remove completed reshoots from the log

Work closely with Studio Producer and Studio Manager on the KPIs for stock in versus stock out. Share findings every month with the Studio Manager.

Run the preshoot percentage every quarter and send out results to management and directors. Increased preshoot percentage improves speed to site.

Communicate daily with the studio. Be the main point of contact for the studio and be the link between BMD and the studio.

Attend the studio weekly meeting every week to go over any issues and highlight any concerns we have.

Liaise Image Co-ordinator and Stock Team regularly to resolve any issues.

Review needs for upcoming collaborations, promotions and ranges - chase BMD for samples and ensure everything gets shot and uploaded within the agreed time frame.

Deal with BMD queries and issues.

Lead daily scheduling meetings with the studio and feedback any sample issues.

Check sets every morning to ensure all samples are being shot on the correct models to prevent costly reshoots.

Log all samples received and ensure they are shot in a timely manner. Update log once images have been uploaded and flag any missing images to Image Co-ordinator.

Ensure Sample Co-ordinators/Assistant’s check samples in and put them away in the correct area.

Stock report - send comments back to the Trade team and reallocate samples not received to the studio. Send number breakdown to studio team.

Run Preshoot Sample Tracker report weekly and send out to the wider business. Update Senior Studio Manager on which teams aren’t filling in the tracker.

Reshoots - reallocate samples twice a week and upload reshoot comments to Flo. Check BMD reshoot sheet once a week and update once reshoots have been completed.

Check BMD trackers weekly and upload comments to Flo so the studio teams have visibility.

Upload the studio intake report to Flo weekly.

Upload co-ord comments to Flo to ensure co-ords are shot together.

Update Forecast sheet weekly and share with Senior Studio Manager.

Scheduling - plan in shoots and request model options from model booker. Work with Lead Stylist and Art Director to confirm models. Work with studio production team to confirm how many teams are needed each week.

Send samples received list to BMD daily to prevent the studio receiving duplicates.
