**About the Trust**
Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) provides high quality, safe and innovative care to our patients in the community, in their homes or in hospital.
We provide services for adults of working age, adults with learning difficulties, and older people in the London area. We currently deliver most of our care to residents in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington. However, we also provide substance misuse services in Westminster, and a substance misuse and psychological therapies service to people living in Kingston.
**What you’ll be responsible for**:
- First line support to managers and employees within the partnership on all people issues across both AfC and Medical workforces.
- To supervise the team daily in partnership with the Head of People Services and People Services Hub Manager.
- Can sign of Timesheets for Bank staff and order Stationary.
- Provide supervision, leadership, guidance, and development to members of the People Service Advisers.
- Ensure team members have regular supervision and performance reviews, identifying any developmental training and support as necessary and relevant to role.
- Ensure team responsibilities are covered during absence and there is an equitable distribution of workload / coordination of activity.
- Ensure that Team meetings are held regularly with the People Advisory Team.
- Update and maintain HR information systems such as recruitment and retention statistics, demographics and equal opportunities monitoring,
- Responsible for the accuracy of ESR and TRAC and regular compliance checks are done to ensure that data accuracy and maintenance is carried out by the team.
**You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust**:
- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS.
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times.
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation.
**You’ll have the following skills/experience**:
- Degree level qualification or equivalent
- CIPD or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Influencing/negotiating skills
- MS Office - word, excel, outlook etc
- Ability to lead and supervise the work of a team
- Report writing and Presentation skills
- HR/ER experience up to and including servicing Employment Tribunals
- NHS ESR experience
**You may have to show evidence in a Degree and Professional HR Qualification or at least 2 years’ experience.**
