**Grounds Maintenance Operative**
**Country Estates Limited**
This role is to assist an established grounds team on the day-to-day maintenance for our collection of business parks located across the South but will be based at our Tadley/Aldermaston site.
**Duties**
- To perform horticultural and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure the overall appearance of the sites including repairs and maintenance of hard surfaces.
- Plant, and maintain shrubs and flowering plants with the continued development across our sites
- The competence to use hand and power operated pruning tools, on hedges, trees and shrubs
- To be able to operate power tools such as pedestrian rotary mowers, grass trimmers, and hedge cutters (training will be provided)
- The use of hand tools required for day-to-day garden tasks
- Ensure all tools are kept clean and tidy along with all storage areas
**Requirements**:
- Experience within a horticultural industry or grounds maintenance
- Botanical knowledge of varying common plants used in a garden setting
- Familiarity with garden maintenance techniques
- Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently (training will be provided)
- Proficiency in using hand tools for garden tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects and working in varied weather conditions that we get
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

- 25 days plus Public Holidays (5 working days must be taken over Christmas holiday period)
