Leopold Hotel Sheffield are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Reception Supervisor to join the Front Office Team.

**The Hotel**

Built on the former site of a Grade II listed Boys Grammar School, the Leopold Hotel is Sheffield’s only four star boutique hotel. This historic property offers a quirky yet luxurious place to meet and sleep, situated centrally on Leopold Square amongst an array of upmarket bars and eateries. The imposing building has been sympathetically restored to retain its charming architectural character. Each of the hotel’s 90 en-suite bedrooms is uniquely furnished, offering every modern amenity necessary for the discerning traveller. Taking great care of the individual needs of our guests, our friendly staff are professional and efficient.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager you will be responsible for assisting the front office operations within the property, working with the Management Team to ensure that all opportunities and revenue are maximised. Ensuring all hotel guests and patrons are dealt with in an efficient, friendly, helpful and personalised manner at all times combined with the highest standards of service and value for money.

Duties will include:

- To carry out relief night shifts if needed.
- To handle all guest queries and complaints in a courteous manner at all times and report accordingly.
- To adhere to all Human Resource Policies as set by the Human Resource department and to promote teamwork element at all times in the department while ensuring fairness and equity when dealing with all members.
- To attend Hotel Meetings as required, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
- To ensure an environment exists that promotes employee morale and encourages the Team to have pride and commitment in their area of work.
- To assist in training, ensuring that training is documented accordingly. To assist in the development of staff.
- To comply with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Licensing and Employment, and to assist in the training of these requirements to all employees
- Ensure that staff report for duty in full uniform and on time, if breached that appropriate action be taken.
- All monies are accounted for e.g. safe float counted at beginning of shift, suitable change, all cash balanced and appropriate floats are issued and returned. All charge dockets are signed for and charging procedures are followed without exception.
- To carry out any other reasonable request from all members of the senior management team.
- To deputise for department managers as and when required.

The position offered is Full Time working approximately 40 hours per week however due to the nature of the role flexibility is required.
