We believe in helping our service users reintegrate into society as active, contributing citizens.**About the role - Single Point of Contact Worker (SPOC)**

**Prompt Response**:As a SPOC Worker, your primary responsibility is ensuring timely and comprehensive responses to all inquiries, including prescribing queries.
- **Appointment Management**:You'll efficiently manage appointments through electronic diary systems, ensuring organized scheduling.
- **Connecting Callers**:Beyond answering calls, you'll connect callers to the appropriate staff or resources, facilitating efficient support delivery.
- **Crisis Handling**:Handling calls from individuals in crisis or at risk, you'll assess situations empathetically and guide them to necessary services.
- **Triage Assessment**:Utilising standardised triage assessment forms, you'll categorise inquiries, directing them to the relevant service promptly. Your role plays a vital part in providing exceptional customer service and effective support for our clients. **About you**
To succeed in the SPOC Advisor role we would like you to have the following skills and attributes:

- Strong Administrative skills.
- Ability to work with disadvantaged/vulnerable people.
- Ability to deal with a range of queries from service users, professionals, family members and carers.
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues facing people who misuse substances
- Understanding of and ability to implement risk assessments.
- Ability to keep effective records including documenting relevant information onto a management information system.
- Understanding of safeguarding issues for children and vulnerable adults
- Employ a mature, sympathetic, non-judgemental attitude towards Service Users and their family.
- Ability to respond to a range of calls, including high risk and those in crisis.
