We are continually seeking ways in which to improve the experience for our customers. Our Customer Contact Centre uses industry leading systems to deliver excellent customer service and ensure that requests are speedily and effectively resolved. Our delivery teams are responsible for a variety of customer support matters which range from processing customer compensation claims to complaints handling, group bookings and assisted/special services, quality assurance and fraud prevention and detection and retails sales to individuals and corporates.

**About the team**

Completing HR administrative duties in a timely manner in accordance with department Service Level Agreements whilst being approachable and working in partnership with internal stakeholders

**Tasks & Duties**:

- Administration of equipment and wellbeing initiatives.
- Assist with employee benefits administration, including enrolment, changes, and enquiries.
- Taking accurate minutes in meetings and sending them out in a timely manner, updating Efiles and drafting letters for approval by the HR Advisor / Head of HR.
- Reviewing absences and accurately recording trigger points in accordance with absence procedure to ensure the policy is fairly applied.
- fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Processing Offboarding and leavers.
- To assist in the maintenance and upkeep of all employee records.
- Administrating the HR inbox, ensuring responses are in line with suitable methods of response and timelines.
- Raising concerns to HR Advisor / Head of HR of any patterns or issues that may ensue.
- Compiling and processing change forms for payroll whilst writing confirmation of change letters.
- Writing sickness letters for company sick and SSP for employees.
- Managing the AWOL process for AWOL employees.
- To follow up on any pending new starter documentation as required e.g. pre-employment checks.
- Involvement in projects as deemed relevant by the HR Advisor / Head of HR.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes including suggestions for automating, simplifying and standardising.
- Assist with the development and implementation of new policies and procedures as required to maintain best practice and compliance with relevant legislation.
- Provide reports for key HR KPI's and wider business reports when requested.
- Maintain the business organisation structure chart with new starters, movers and leavers.
- Experience working in a busy administration role, ideally within an HR team.
- A team-worker who is prepared to pitch in to do what is needed to support the rest of the team where necessary.
- A meticulous administrator with the ability to manage own workload and prioritise effectively and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to check and ensure the quality and accuracy of your own work and, occasionally, other people's.
- The ability to use and develop HR systems or similar data systems.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate confidently and professionally with colleagues and external bodies at all levels.
- Reliable, responsible and able to handle highly confidential information with discretion.

**About the location**

Sheffield city centre. Ten minutes' walk from Sheffield Station. Travel to other UK locations as appropriate

**Working pattern**

37.5 hours per week
