Our delivery teams are responsible for a variety of customer support matters which range from processing customer compensation claims to complaints handling, group bookings and assisted/special services, quality assurance and fraud prevention and detection and retails sales to individuals and corporates.

**About the team**

The Business integrity and Compliance Team are responsible for all fraud Control activities within FCC, together with providing the Data Protection/Privacy and ISMS compliance function.

**About the job**

Reporting to the Counter Fraud & Privacy Manager, the role will support the day-to-day administration, monitoring, investigation of data protection requests/issues and privacy enhancements across all FCC products.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Support the Business Integrity and Compliance Team with various tasks, ensuring the organisation's compliance to the Data protection Act 2018, GDPR UK and any other applicable privacy legislation.
- Act as the contact point for incident response, ensuring timely and appropriate action.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data protection policies and procedures to support compliance.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure Privacy consideration are integrated into new projects and initiatives.
- Maintain records of data processing activities, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Work with internal and external auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions.
- Raise awareness of data protection responsibilities and importance of privacy throughout the organisation.
- Produce reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

**You'll need to be**:

- Proactive 'problem resolver', owning and resolving issues; a self-starter who is results-driven with high levels of self-motivation and initiative.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
- Logical, methodical, and persistent, with a keen eye for detail
- Able to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification in data protection or privacy is a desirable.

**As a minimum, you will need to have**:

- Knowledge of the Rail Industry.
- A good Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations.
- A good knowledge of fraud types and data protection.
- Experience in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for training and awareness initiatives.
- Good knowledge of IT systems including MS suite and ability to adapt to bespoke CRM systems.

**About the location**

Sheffield city centre. Ten minutes' walk from Sheffield Station. Travel to other UK locations as appropriate.

**Working pattern**

37.5 hours per week, between 0800 and 1800 Monday to Friday; some weekend working by exception.
