As a Customer and Corporate Portfolio Lead, you will be accountable for the strategic planning activity within our Customer and Corporate portfolio. You will directly support our Digital Services Business Partner by overseeing the development and delivery of the Customer and Corporate business roadmap, as well as supporting and coaching the wider Business Partner team, particularly the Relationship Managers.

**What you’ll be leading on**
- Lead the strategic planning activity for our Customer and Corporate portfolio, including the development and management of the business roadmap.
- Deputise for the Customer and Corporate Business Partner where required and act as the initial point of escalation for the portfolio.
- Understand and explore industry trends for customer and corporate technologies, services and processes and develop the team’s knowledge in this area.
- Work with the Strategy, Transformation and Performance, and Programme Delivery functions to manage resource requirements, delivery risks, issues and dependencies 5. Track and report financial spend identifying and escalating any variations to budget, support the wider Digital Services team’s forecasting and business planning activities.
- Enable the Customer and Corporate Business Partner to manage their team effectively through providing visibility of portfolio priorities, pipeline, resource allocation and workload.
- Optimise the Customer and Corporate Business Partner team’s performance and delivery, actively address the most complicated risks, issues and dependencies including where ownership exists outside of the team or no clear ownership exists, identify innovative ways to unblock issues.
- Lead continual planning processes in a complex environment and plan beyond product delivery, identify dependencies in plans across services and coordinate delivery.
- Communicate effectively across organisational, technical and political boundaries, understanding the context, successfully react and respond to challenge.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships, whilst managing their expectations and facilitating discussions about risk and complexity within constrained timescales
- Build, maintain, influence and motivate the Business Partner team; giving and receiving feedback, facilitating the feedback loop and accelerating team performance.

**To be successful**
- Demonstrate notable experience of creating, shaping and maintaining business portfolios and business planning.
- Have experience of bringing stakeholders (business and digital, data and technology) together to create technology and delivery roadmaps.
- Experience of bringing forward programmes of work and managing dependencies and risks
- Expert in creating effective relationships and partnerships across business and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrate experience of growing and developing teams
