**Clinic Nurse-Cosmetics | Cambridge | Full Time | Up to £30,000-£35,000 depending on experience**

Cambridge Clear Beauty is a cosmetic surgery clinic.

We are CQC approved and we adhere to a high standard within the surgery and cosmetics industry.

This role is 5 days a week with some weekend work depending on the needs of the patient, these appointments will be arranged in advance.

The role will be a combination of administrative paperwork preoperative and postoperative, assisting one of the top cosmetic surgeons in the UK and completing treatments from an aesthetic role once all training has been completed.

The clinic is led by an award-winning consultant plastic surgeon, who ensures all patients are treated with the highest level of skill and expertise. In terms of career development, this really is an opportunity that can’t be missed

**What can you expect in return?**

**Are you the right person for the job?**
- This would be ideal for someone that has worked in a MINOR OPS unit or someone that has worked in both theatres AND outpatients in a large private hospital, or a cosmetic surgery clinic for example
- You will be an NMC-registered nurse with a minimum of 3 years post qualification in scrub/surgical practice
- You must have a sound knowledge of clinical reasoning and sound decision-making
- You must have a sensitive approach as clients who sometimes enter the clinic are coming for life-changing treatments to improve their self-esteem as well as their aesthetic appearance

**What will your role as a Clinic Nurse look like?**
- You will report to the Director of the Clinic or the Practice Manager
- The role will include leading the patient on their journey through the Clinic from greeting at the door, offering refreshments, taking them through the consultation; supporting the patient to choose the correct treatment, all the way through to completionof treatment
- This clinic believes in a more approachable, friendly service with the experience of the patient always being placed above making a profit and offering the best evidence-based treatments for patients
- The clinic’s aim is to support patients at all stages of their journey with the clinic nurse following up with phone calls regularly to see how the patient is progressing on the road to recovery and healing
- Post-operative dress changes will also be the clinic nurse’s responsibility.
- Promote safeguarding and risk management in respect of patients, employees and visitors
- Providing comprehensive care to perioperative patients who have undergone day surgery
- You will be required to keep comprehensive medical notes including photography of patients at consultation, these will need to be stored electronically onto the computer system, so a basic knowledge of ICT is needed.
- You will also assist the Clinic Director during some surgical procedures, training will be given where needed to adhere to the clinic’s high standards.
- Coordinate use of supplies and equipment - ensuring all is safe and ready to use as well as monitor and order stock for operative procedures
- Assemble, check and prepare appropriate surgical instruments and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures - any faults need to be reported to theatre manager immediately
