The Emergency Department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Senior Clinical Fellow within the Emergency Department. The term is initially for a 12-month period but can be extended if mutually agreed and the position involves working a shift pattern.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice and shall have completed a minimum of 4 years of postgraduate training or equivalent experience, including at least 2 years’ experience in the Emergency Department.

Maintain professional responsibility for patients coming to the ED by provision of safe, timely, high-quality care to patients

Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition and involve them in any decision-making about their treatment

Undertake different roles within the department as required

Be responsible for the keeping of records and the provision of reports, the proper delegation of tasks and maintaining skills and knowledge

Provide clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff
