As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM), you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

- Develop real-time and highly scalable trading systems for one of the largest trading desks in the Industry.
- Document functional requirements closely with Quant Researchers and Traders to
- Work on modernization agenda to move the system towards distributed micro-service architecture and Public/Private Cloud
**Required qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Formal training or certification on Computer Science and/or Math concepts and proficient advanced experience.
- Strong knowledge on algorithms, data structures, design patterns and OOP.
- Experience in full software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work in a global team and deliver results quickly
- Ability to work on multiple projects or work stream
- Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills
**Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills**
- Experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum, TDD)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to express complex concepts in a concise way.

**Qualifications**:
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent command of Cybersecurity organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
- Ability to analyze vulnerabilities, threats, designs, procedures and architectural design, producing reports and sharing intelligence
- Strong understanding of the following: Windows/Linux/Unix/Mac operating systems; OS and software vulnerability and exploitation techniques; commercial or open-source offensive security tools for reconnaissance, scanning, exploitation, and post exploitation (e.g. Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite); networking fundamentals (all OSI layers, protocols); Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) providers in both private and public (AWS, Azure) environments; DevOps; incident response
