We are looking for a NOC Operator to look after our BMS and EMS Systems on one of our data centre sites in the Docklands area, London.
**Responsibilities**:
- Aid and assist in raising electronically documented reactive instructions onto the CAFM system and undertake all monitoring tasks in accordance with these instructions
- Monitoring all BMS/EMS systems to ensure the critical environmental systems are within specified ranges and operating systems are functioning properly
- Fully monitor, manage and undertake any diagnostic analysis that the whole system may require in conjunction with witness testing all critical BMS/EMS alarms throughout PPM and reactive maintenance periods.
- Observe deviations from systems specifications and liaise with the Dalkia Account Manager, Site Manager and Site Supervisors in order to deploy Engineering Staff to correct the issues and resolve any discrepancies
- Complete all electronic and paper records such that an accurate Site Log Book record of all works and an up-to-date equipment register remain on site for the Client’s information and approval
- Constant liaising with the BMS/EMS Engineer to understand the current BMS/EMS operating status and any shortcomings which may impact visibility.
- Ensure site induction records are logged on the clients systems
- Supervise, oversee and review all upgrade works planned and conducted on the BMS/EMS Systems (BMS/EMS upgrade risk assessments)
- Implement and action the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of risk management systems to ensure there is no uncontrolled impact on day-to-day operations
- Undertake a visual inspection of all BMS/EMS screens and tabs and submit written documentation of any items that appear to jeopardise any aspects of reliability
- Create documentation showing the current working state, settings and seasonal changes that are required
- Attend to all BMS/EMS alarms as speedily as possible and maintain good communications with the Dalkia Data Centre Site Manager, Site Supervisors, Account Manager and the Client with regard to progress of all outstanding BMS/EMS alarm issues
- Make recommendations to the Dalkia Account Manager on matters concerning continuous improvement and “adding value” that may improve the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery etc. of all work for which the Company has a responsibility
- Aid and assist in the review and completion of all Dalkia BMS/EMS maintenance tasks as generated on the Dalkia Concept system
- Aid and assist in reviewing and auditing assets and asset lists for the site in conjunction with what is detailed on the BMS/EMS screens
- Arrange system reboots as and when necessary upon any breakdowns
- Maintain the associated BMS/EMS site records and logbooks
**Hours of Work**
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

**Person Specification**
- Electrically qualified - City & Guilds Level 3 and 18th edition
- Experienced Data Centre BMS/EMS System Monitoring and management
- Strong Electrical and controls experience
- IT Literacy (MS Word, Excel, Lotus Notes and Tablets)
- Ashrae Standard
- Knowledge of Niagra BMS Systems and Schneider EMS System
- Knowledge of Modbus, SNMP BACnet would be desirable
