Band 4 Assistant Psychologist to work within Coventry Community Mental Health Team.
**Hours**: 37.5 hours
- Fixed term contract for 12 months
An exciting 12-month opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Psychologist to work within Coventry Community Mental Health Team. The service works with individuals with complex trauma and mental health presentations.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and your role will involve providing support to qualified psychologists with psychological assessments and undertaking psychological interventions, with a particular focus on supporting individuals on therapy waiting lists.
You will also be involved in supporting psychologists and other qualified psychological professionals with the facilitation of groups offered by the service. There will also be opportunities to assist with audits and service evaluations.
About Us
The post holder will receive regular supervision and support from registered HCPC psychologists. The clinical psychologists within the services have good links with the Coventry and Warwickshire Doctorate in Clinical Psychology course. Therefore the service regularly provide core and specialist placement opportunities for trainee clinical psychologists.
