Salary £10,184 per annum FTC

Part-time hours: 16 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

We are looking for an enthusiastic person who is looking towards a career in youth work and working with young people, training will be given, and you will work closely with the current youth work team to assist in delivery.

Your main duty will be to work on an evening for 4 hours between 4.30pm - 8.30pm at various locations within the area's we operate.

You will be required to work directly with young people aged 5-19 years old and aid in promoting their personal and social development by assisting in the provision of a range of positive activities in a youth work setting and be responsible for the development and delivery of an activities program.

You will also be required to establish positive relationships with young people to encourage and enable them to participate in and benefit form a program of positive activities which encourages young people to develop their own identity through play and expression.

To work towards service targets and project outcomes and assist with the young persons personal targets and achievements.

Experience of working with strict outcomes and targets is essential, experience of Big Lottery funding is desirable but not essential.

All applicants must be willing to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and be willing to undertake mandatory training specific to the role and the charities policies and procedures.

**Due to the remote locations of some of our provisions and requirement to use a company vehicle, a Full Clean UK Driving Licence is essential.**
