Happi Daze LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Children Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable children, developing individualized care plans, and communicating effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and engage with children, prioritizing their safety and well-being at all times.
- Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with other care providers, considering each child's unique needs and requirements.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff, maintaining accurate records of children's progress and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Transport children to various activities or appointments as needed, ensuring their safety and comfort during travel.
- Maintain open communication channels with colleagues, promoting a cohesive approach to child care and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in child care or a related field.
- Familiarity with care home practices and regulations.
- The ability to create and follow individualized care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
- A valid driving license for transporting children.
- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care is highly desirable.
