Are you a Technical IT Coordinator with well-rounded support experience at a supervisor level? If yes, read on.

The Technical IT Coordinator will take ownership and facilitate best-practice delivery across the Company. This role will provide hands-on end-user support, as well as maintain, develop and troubleshoot network and server infrastructure

This is an ideal position for someone with a solid background in IT (degree or academy) and proven experience in a commercial environment looking to progress - suitable job titles could include: IT Team leader, Supervisor, or IT Coordinator.

Suitable locations may include: Newcastle-upon-tyne, Sunderland and Durham

**The Role of Technical IT Coordinator**:

- Demonstrating commercial awareness while managing suppliers, contracts and day-to-day budget expenditure
- Able to map, refine and ensure compliance with technical business processes
- Managing internal and external threats to data security and technical operations
- Software asset management
- Administration of MS SQL databases
- Administering an Active Directory windows domain
- Ensuring the smooth running of core business services
- Compiling and reporting KPIs including visual management
- Maintaining, developing and troubleshooting network and server infrastructure
- Providing hands-on end-user support
- Contributing as part of a business improvement forum
- Maintain awareness of opportunities to improve technical business operations

**Minimum Skills / Experience Required**:

- Virtualised infrastructure (VMWare preferred)
- Microsoft server technologies including Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, WDS
- Microsoft 365 administration
- SQL server administration including working knowledge of SQL/TSQL
- Practical knowledge of network technologies, IP PBX and troubleshooting
- Knowledge or experience of any of the following would also be advantageous
- ERP
- CRM
- Linux
- Azure/AWS
- Well-rounded technical support experience at a supervisor level
- Self-confidence and good interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and
- written)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to manage time effectively, set priorities appropriately, schedule calls
- Able to work autonomously and supervise others
- ITIL and/or Comp TIA or equivalent certification is desirable
